Types of Paint

Enamel Paints

 

Enamel paint is paint that air dries to a hard, usually glossy, finish, used for coating surfaces that are outdoors or otherwise subject to hard wear or variations in temperature; it should not be confused with decorated objects in "painted enamel", where vitreous enamel is applied with brushes and fired in a kiln.

 

 

 

 

Emulsion Paints

 

A type of paint used for walls, consisting of pigment bound in a synthetic resin which forms an emulsion with water.

Weather Shield 

 

Distemper/ white wash/ weather sheet is a term with a variety of meanings for paints used in decorating and as a historical medium for painting pictures, and contrasted with tempera. The binding element may be some form of glue or oil.

Graffiti

 

Graffiti (plural of graffito: "a graffito", but "these graffiti") are writing or drawings that have been scribbled, scratched, or painted illicitly on a wall or other surface, often in a public place.
